Announcing the 2011 Rochester Top 100

The Rochester Business Alliance and KPMG LLP are proud to announce this year's list of the region's fastest growing, privately held companies.

Topping the 2011 Rochester Top 100 is Manning & Napier Advisors, Inc., investment advisor firm based in Perinton. In the second place spot is RailComm, a Fairport company that proves software-based solutions to railway systems. And in third place is Real Lease, Inc., based in Pittsford, which leases commercial, municipal and energy equipment.

To be eligible for the Rochester Top 100, companies must be privately held, headquartered in the Rochester region, and have at least $1 million in annual revenues for each of three most recent fiscal years.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Rochester Top 100, and to celebrate the occasion, all companies will be honored Thursday at a gala dinner at the Riverside Convention Center, as part of the Rochester Business Alliance's annual meeting. More information on the gala
