The Women's Council, an affiliate of the Rochester Business Alliance, is seeking sponsors for its 25th Annual ATHENA® Award, which each year recognizes area businesswomen for their personal and professional accomplishments, community service, and support for the development of other women. This year's celebration will be especially important as we celebrate 25 years of women's leadership.

The ATHENA Award program actively supports and celebrates the international ATHENA mission of supporting, developing and honoring women leaders, inspiring women to achieve their full potential and creating balance in leadership worldwide. All of this year's Athena finalists, as well as past Athena recipients, will be honored at a luncheon at noon, Jan. 20, 2011 at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center, during which the 2011 ATHENA Award recipient will be announced.

Women's Council is now seeking nominations. Nominations may be made online by submitting the form online using this link. The deadline for nomination submissions is Thursday, Oct. 21, 2010.
