Committee for a Strong Economy, the political action committee of the Rochester Business Alliance, has endorsed candidates in 12 Monroe County Legislature races, including seven incumbents and five newcomers, and opted to make no endorsements in four other races.

"Our committee invited each of the candidates in these races in for an interview, and put a lot of tough questions to them," said Sandy Parker, president and CEO of the Rochester Business Alliance and a PAC member. "When it came time to vote on endorsements, we chose those candidates who we truly believed would work collaboratively, and not just along party lines, and who demonstrated a real passion for this community."

28th District: No endorsement
29th District: Saul A. Maneiro (D)

The committee also endorsed Rochester Mayor Robert Duffy who is running unopposed for a second term.

Committee for a Strong Economy is the Political Action Committee (PAC) of the Rochester Business Alliance. The committee is made up of representatives of Rochester Business Alliance members.
