Benchmarking Surveys in Progress

Each year, the Rochester Business Alliance's Business Information department conducts numerous benchmarking surveys to help employers maintain competitive wages and benefits in the Rochester area.

There are currently two surveys in progress open for participation by Corporate and Partner members.

• The 2011 Rochester Area Pay Trends Survey reports pay adjustments (merit, cost of living, etc.) received as a percent of pay in firms granting increases. The survey e-mail was sent out in late July to members who signed up to participate. The deadline to participate in this survey is Aug. 11.
• The 2011 RBA Health Benefits Survey is a comprehensive benchmarking survey that collects Rochester-area data via Excel spreadsheet and web survey on many health insurance topics including: health plan offerings, pricing structures, management of premium increases, and benefits strategies, as well as questions on high deductible health plans, retiree medical, self-insured plans and dental insurance. An e-mail with participation instructions was sent in mid-July to past participants and human resource contacts at all Corporate and Partner member companies. The deadline to participate in this survey has been extended to Aug. 18.

The 2012 RBA Holiday Closing Survey is scheduled to be sent out this week to members who signed up to participate. This survey reports anticipated holiday observances for the year 2012. The deadline to participate in this survey is Aug. 23.
