The NYS Legislature is currently negotiating a new state budget that, on top of all the other taxes, fees and surcharges you already pay, is likely to add new taxes that will increase the cost of your health insurance, the energy you use to heat and cool your home or business, as well as asking small businesses to pay a greater portion of their profits.
