Registration for the Employee Relations Forum is now closed. Registration will begin again next August. Corporate and Partner members will be notified by e-mail when registration is available. Below is some general information on this forum.
This forum helps participants address employee relations issues that arise by providing an opportunity for participants to discuss employee relations situations with other Human Resource professionals and learn from their past experiences and suggestions. When needed, a field expert, such as an employment law attorney, will attend the meeting to share their expertise and advice.
Members who sign up to participate in the forum will have the opportunity to suggest upcoming meeting topics, such as: engaging managers to work with HR in dealing with the employee relations issues, creating and maintaining a social media policy, avoiding claims of discrimination or wrongful discharge, employee discipline, performance management, etc. In addition, to help keep members connected between meetings, participants may request a brief (generally 3 - 5 questions) "Forum Survey" via e-mail on various human resource topics of interest. The cost to participate in the forum is $150. This registration fee reserves your space in the forum for the entire series, which runs from October to May, and is non-refundable.
