Rochester Business Alliance PAC Announces Endorsements
The Committee for a Strong Economy, the political action committee of the Rochester Business Alliance, has endorsed candidates in 14 New York State Legislature races, opting to make no endorsements in three other races.
"Our committee invited each of the candidates in these races in for an interview, and put a lot of tough questions to them," said Sandy Parker, president and CEO of the Rochester Business Alliance and a PAC member.
"The Rochester region and all of Upstate New York continue to face some significant economic challenges," Parker said. "Those candidates receiving the committee's endorsements demonstrated strong interest in getting Albany more focused on creating a climate that will promote job growth, including reining in government spending and reducing the state's oppressive tax burden on its citizens and its businesses."
