JOBSapalooza draws students, alumni

The area's first job fair for 2008 drew a steady crowd Jan. 3 from 4 - 7 p.m. at the DoubleTree Inn. Sponsored by the Rochester Business Alliance and the Rochester Area Career Development Center, this was the second annual JOBSapalooza event that went over with success.

Event coordinators expected to draw nearly 400 local college students, recent graduates and alumni to the event. About 50 local businesses set up booths in the grand ballroom, featuringjobs in fields such as sales, advanced manufacturing and health care.

The job fair was created two years ago to attract area students to find employment in the area post graduation.
