The Rochester Black Business Association (RBBA) announced at its annual Showcase and Luncheon last week that it has formed an affiliation with the Rochester Business Alliance.

Rochester Business Alliance Vice President Barbara Cutrona said the partnership will help the groups work toward the common goal of helping local businesses grow.

The affiliate works to foster and maintain an environment for black businesses to develop and prosper. It provides assistance to existing businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs through advocacy, identifying resources and working to establish and maintain mutually beneficial relationships between black businesses and majority business concerns. The RBBA also works to bring black businesses together to develop networks which support community and economic development.
