Question: Tell me briefly about Diamond Packaging.
Voss: For over 95 years, Diamond Packaging has dedicated itself to providing the highest standard of quality, innovation and cost effective packaging for our customers. Through partnerships and strategic alliances, we continue to broaden that recognition around the globe.

As part of the Global Packaging Alliance (GPA), Diamond and its alliance members offer packaging solutions to companies operating on an international scale. Customers receive responsive, localized service, award-winning creative designs, identical product specifications and consistent brand recognition, resulting in unparalleled worldwide packaging support.

Question:Where are most of your clients based?
Voss: Our client list includes several Fortune 500 companies, many of which are based in the Northeast.

Question: How has your company sustained continual growth?
Voss: By investing in the latest technologies and training of our employees.

Question:What does it mean to your business to be recognized by the Rochester Business Alliance as one of Rochester's Top 100 Companies?
Voss: It means that we are providing the type of leadership that enhances the economic growth of our community and provides corporate citizenship to those organizations dependent upon us.

Questions: What additional services can the Rochester Business Alliance provide to help your business?
Voss: A united front to provide a business environment that will allow us to compete nationally and internationally in Rochester and New York State.

Question: What signs of optimism do you see in the local economy?
Voss: I see the medical community and the local universities providing opportunities and an enhanced environment that attracts quality people to our community. This in turn entices other professionals to join the Rochester community.

Question: What are the biggest opportunities you see ahead, as well as the biggest challenges?
Voss: On a positive note, I see more community support for smaller businesses and entrepreneurial enterprises. The biggest challenge I see is high taxes that inhibit the development of businesses in our community and in the state of New York.
