The Rochester Business Alliance joined Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks, Rochester Mayor Robert Duffy and leaders of Greater Rochester Enterprise and the Greater Rochester Visitors' Association in announcing an exciting opportunity for showcasing our community.

About 100 community and business leaders attended an event at the Rochester Airport Marriott on April 17 to announce that our community will be the featured profile in the July edition of US Airways Magazine.

"Profile: Rochester" will be a comprehensive look at the economic drivers and industry sectors that shape the lifestyle and business landscape of Rochester. The article, expected to be at least 36-pages, also will highlight the region's arts, cultural and recreational opportunities.

The magazine, produced by Pace Communications of Greensboro, N.C., profiles a different community each month. With 5.8 million copies of the magazine distributed each month, it is expected that the article will give the region exposure and attract visitors as well as businesses.
