Question: Tell me briefly about your business.
Rosenbloom: Ameritherm designs and manufactures equipment, accessories and precision induction heating solutions both here and in the UK, used in manufacturing and research processes. Our equipment provides improved efficiency over traditional ovens and flame methods.

Question: Who are your customers?
Rosenbloom: Induction heating systems are used in manufacturing whenever you need to heat metal really hot, really fast. Our manufacturing customers are well-represented in the Fortune 500. To name a few: Samsung, Honda, Phillips, Kodak, Corning, GE, Boeing, Delphi, Caterpillar, Bosch, and Stanley Tool. We also have systems in many research facilities and universities, including RIT.

Question: What does it mean to your business to be on the on the Top 100?
Rosenbloom: Although the Top 100 is locally oriented, recognition such as this builds confidence in customers and partners worldwide.

Rosenbloom: Access to a broad range of experts and experience.

Question: What hurdles must our local economy overcome?
Rosenbloom: It must continue to reduce dependence on the "big three" and build our growing reputation as a area that has both the infrastructure and attitude to nurture high-tech, high growth companies and start-ups. It would not be a bad thing to be known as the "Austin of the North".
