Transportation Council Member Benefits / Services

With a history rich in tradition and leadership, the Transportation Council strives to meet the needs of transportation professionals. The Council offers a variety of educational seminars and social functions which provide opportunities for our members to exchange information. Members of the transportation industry are encouraged to work through Transportation Council members where they will receive fair value for their transportation dollars. We trust our membership to adhere to the highest standards of business ethics in their professional and community activities.

Transportation Council Benefits to Members:

• Provide informative seminars on issues of importance to professionals in the transportation industry
• Referral services for companies needing the names of specific service providers
• We present an Annual Dinner which honors key people from the transportation industry for their outstanding achievements to our community
• Each year we offer several scholarships to the children of Transportation Council members who are studying for degrees at area colleges and universities
• We offer a variety of social events designed to allow our members to meet and spend time with other professionals in the industry... knowing full well that people place their business with people that they know and trust
• The Council takes public positions on issues of interest to the transportation industry such as the proposed increase in Thruway tolls, increased fuel costs, etc.
• The Council offers its members the opportunity to meet with key elected state officials on issues of importance to our industry.
