The Rochester Business Alliance is committed to providing its members with the tools and assistance necessary to achieve occupational safety excellence. In the Safety and Health Procedures Manual, you'll find an extraordinary resource.

About the Manual
Safety and Health Procedures is a policy manual that includes all the tools needed to inform and educate your workforce and manage the daily process of safety. There are three different versions of the manual available to meet the needs of employers:

Office and Administrative is an abbreviated version of the full manual containing just those procedures that might be useful in a setting where risks are expected to be limited. Office Administrative

Manufacturing and Service contains all those procedures that are likely to be necessary in a setting where risks and hazards are broadly-based and the control process is reasonably complex. Manufacturing/Service

Local Government is very similar to the content of Manufacturing and Service, but includes procedures on PESH and hazards and controls unique to operations in the community. Local Government

Advantages

Within the Safety and Health Procedures Manual, you will find:

  • The written procedures OSHA requires, as well as other procedures needed to stay up with best safety practices
  • Forms and tools essential to administering the daily safety process
  • A safety training outline your supervisors need to ensure that they have knowledgeable and skilled workers is contained in each procedure
  • Easy-to-read procedures and background resources needed to get the job done easily
  • A standardized format that has everything needed to run a safety process

This manual includes a CD containing the entire content written in MS Word or in Adobe PDF format. A simple search and replace process puts your company name on each Word document.
