The Rochester Business Alliance's political action committee (PAC) - the Committee for a Strong Economy - is a group of 11 community leaders representing business and education. The group meets to decide on key issues to be discussed with candidates, then based on those candidate interviews, makes endorsements for election. The Committee for a Strong Economy focuses on key state and local races, and has endorsed candidates running for state governor, the state Legislature, Rochester mayor, the Monroe County Legislature, Monroe County Executive, and Rochester City Council.
