Seventy percent of area employers say increasing health care and benefits costs are the number one issue facing them, according to a survey of Rochester Business Alliance members. To address our members' concerns, we joined with several community partners to form the Rochester Business Alliance Healthcare Initiative. The initiative, headed by John Urban, chief executive of the Rochester Area Health Foundation, is aimed at bringing together business leaders to find ways to promote wellness, enhance quality and improve access to health care while looking for efficiencies that will keep care affordable.
