Deadline is Friday, July 10, 2009.
- Be independent (no parent company);
- Be privately held (not publicly traded);
- Have revenue of at least $1 million in each of the three most recent fiscal years*; and
- Be headquartered in the greater Rochester area (includes Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Orleans, Seneca, Wayne, Wyoming, and Yates counties).
* KPMG reserves the right to make the final determinations of comparable revenue levels.
Rochester has always been known as region of innovation spurred by a strong entrepreneurial spirit. In recognition of that spirit, each year the Rochester Business Alliance and KPMG LLP sponsor the Rochester Top 100, which recognizes the fastest-growing privately held businesses in the region. Last year, 227 companies from manufacturers to service industries were nominated for the 2008 Top 100.
