Rochester is widely known as a region of innovation spurred by a strong entrepreneurial spirit. In recognition of that spirit, each year Rochester Business Alliance and KPMG LLP present the Rochester Top 100, a program that recognizes the fastest-growing privately owned companies in the Greater Rochester region. To be eligible for the Rochester Top 100, businesses must be privately held, headquartered in the nine-county Rochester region, and have earned at least $1 million in revenue in each of the three most recent fiscal years. Rochester Business Alliance President and CEO Sandy Parker said, "Our community has undergone tremendous change in recent years. The Top 100 companies are examples of why the Rochester region is so resilient even through recessions and other challenges. The combination of these diverse businesses, big and small, fuels our local economy. Each organization earns its way onto the Top 100 list through hard work and dedication."
Tickets are still available for the Rochester Top 100 gala luncheon scheduled for November 6 at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center. For more information, contact RBA Corporate Events and Affiliate Relations Manager Susan George at Susan.George@RBAlliance.com. The pre-ceremony reception begins at 10:45 a.m. followed by the luncheon from noon to 1:30 p.m. A Top 100 roll-up presentation, produced by 13WHAM-TV, including a special tribute to the top three companies, will be presented during the event. Rochester Business Journal has also published a special supplement honoring the companies of this year's Rochester Top 100 program.
