In recognition of that spirit, each year the Rochester Business Alliance and KPMG LLP sponsor the Rochester Top 100, which recognizes the fastest-growing privately held businesses in the region. Last year, a record 236 companies from manufacturers to automobile dealerships were nominated for the 2007 Top 100.
