| Description | MANAGE ALL DEPTS IN SHOP, TROUBLE SHOOT CNC EQUIP, LEAN MFG EXPERIENCE NECESSARY WORKING SUPERVISOR --80% WORKING (NOT MAKING PARTS) 20% OTHER: *Optimize machining for efficiency *Ensure that all personnel within department are using the most effective, approved process (through engineering department) *Ensure that all customer deliveries and expectations are met correctly *Monitor and control overtime hours with guidance from General Manager *Quote labor hours (as needed) for projects *Maintain a clean, neat, safe work environment at all times *Close the shop down *Mentor and coach personnel within department to follow all company procedures (time cards, job cards, *Schedule and administer performance reviews with Plant Manager *Assist Plant Manager with wage adjustments if necessary *Put into effect all company policies set forth in the employees manual *Minimum of 5 years of CNC operation, set up and programming *Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience *Thorough knowledge of machine shop theory and procedures, shop math and inspection techniques *High school diploma or equivalent preferred *Strong interpersonal, leadership and organizational skills *Must be able to handle multitasks efficiently |
