| Description | 2- 5 years of manufacturing/electronic experience. Soldering skills including Rohs Certification, Thru-Hole and SMT for cables and wires. Able to work with hand tools. Be able read and interpret schematics/blueprints. Perform basic trouble-shooting and re-work on own assemblies. Able to perform mechanical assembly. Must be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision, a self-starter. Must have effective verbal and communication skills. Able to lift up to 35lbs Ability to work overtime if needed. • Other Duties as Assigned Nearly all electronics technician jobs include repair and maintenance of the organization's electronics equipment. This means the ability to test and troubleshoot the equipment, read schematics and maintenance manuals, solder and unsolder components (if needed), research parts availability and costs. It also includes the ability to determine if outside or factory support is required in order to make timely repairs. |
