| Description | Must be willing to work any shift (10 to 12hrs long), and even on weekends, since the Heat Treat dept runs 24/7. The person must have scored 100% on the math test and have experience with using an excel spreadsheet. Previous heat treat experience is not required. The person must have a solid work history and good attendance because once fully trained, they could be the only person on that shift in the dept and if they don’t show up for work, there will be NO ONE to cover the shift. Dependability is a must. They also have to be a real self starter, since the off shift does not have a supervisor on it and the person (once trained) will have to be able to prioritize jobs and multi-task different batches of product in different furnaces, possibly in different parts of the building. There will be a physical requirement to bend frequently at the waist, so they can’t be frail at all. |
