| Description | MAINTENANCE MECHANIC: Basic Function: Maintain, adjust, install and repair a variety of complex machine tools, engines and forging and mechanized equipment. Diagnose, overhaul and rebuild machines and equipment. Utilize a variety of machines and hand tools in scraping, fabricating, cutting, fitting, adjusting, and checking parts for repair or replacement. May perform general maintenance tasks such as carpentry, electrical repair, mechanical repair, plumbing and welding. Basic Requirements: Minimum of 3 to 5 years industrial maintenance mechanic experience. "Ability to physically access all areas of the facility and premises. Ability to move and transport tools, motors, parts, items, etc. to the work site. Knowledge in the safe operation of hand and power tools. Ability to access and operate a forklift to approved O.S.H.A. standards. Knowledge of electricity and hydraulics preferred. Able to read electrical and hydraulic schematics preferred. Additional Requirements: Perform routine preventative maintenance as required. Ability to read and interpret schematics. Perform general duty labor as required. |
