| Description | PRODUCTION MANAGER SUMMARY: To perform this job successfully, an individual will be responsible for directing overall operation for a specific department or team. This position involves ensuring that employees provide high quality products and services and meeting customers request and completing projects as directed. The Production manager must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: o Adheres to all safety processes and procedures and insures they are followed by Associates o Monitors the quality of work done by employees reporting to this position. o Assures adherence to all Company policies and procedures by direct reports. o Assigns weekly/daily workload to insure production requirements are met direct report o Coaches, trains, and monitors Associates' activities in operation of equipment and executing duties in manufacture of product. o Assists in the resolution of production, quality, and maintenance problems as they occur o Supports scheduling and production planning across facility. o Keeps Plant Manager and Sr. Management informed of workload, production, quality and personnel issues. o Recommends staffing changes to adjust for changes in workload. o Completes and delivers annual performance reviews for all direct reports and recommends wage adjustments. o Conducts regular meetings with Associates to review safety, quality, and productivity issues. o Operates machinery as necessary to insure production completion. o Ensures work areas are kept safe and clean. o This is a "Working Production Managers" position. REQUIREMENTS: " Two years experience in supervising ten or more people. " Five years experience in a sheets metal fabrication and production environment. " Knowledge of sheet metal production machinery and procedures. " Experience in production scheduling and planning on both department and facilities level. " Must 'hands on "sheet metal fabrication and production experience. " Strong leadership skills and demonstrated ability to promote and maintain a positive, customer focused work environment $35KENTRY LEVEL-MID RANGE $45,000....AND ACCORDING TO EXP |
