Course Objective: Are you responsible for wage and hour matters at your company or want to learn more about this area? In this seminar participants will learn how to identify and anticipate wage and hour risks. We will also explore developments in employee status regulation and litigation and misclassification cases, proper calculation of time worked, the regular rate of pay and overtime, new challenges outside FLSA including meal and rest break violations, failure to reimburse for expenses and conducting effective in-house investigations. Continental breakfast will be served.
