Early Recognition to Prevent Workplace Violence

Course Objective: RBA is partnering with the Homeland Security Management Institute (HSMI) at MCC to offer a four-hour class on the development of early recognition skills to address violence in the workplace. Guy Rossi, program coordinator at HSMI, will lead the group through interactive and video exercises where attendees will learn verbal strategies as well as bystander interactions to prevent or suppress violence. We'll recommend methods of prevention, detection, and policy-making as well as law enforcement response to active shooters.

Course Length: 8:30am-12:30pm

Cost: $99 RBA Members; $150 Non-Members
